Image
Halloween is now less than a month away, and you will soon have your costume planned out if it isn't already. The candy's coming out, the witches are brewing, and the spooky decorations are beginning to get hung.

1. Halloween Town Series

Hands down they are my favorite Halloween movies. You must watch all of them too!

2. Twitches 1 & 2

Probably my next favorites and Tia and Tamara are one of my favorite twins!

3. Hocus Pocus

Fun fact: I watched this for the first time only last year!

4. Adams Family

I mean it's a classic! *quietly sings and snaps to the theme song*

5. Nightmare Before Christmas

Jack and Sally are just so cute.

6. Scary Godmother 1& 2

Okay I'm pretty sure not a lot of people know about these but it's a childhood favorite of mine and I think it's also a book series!

To go along with the Tim Burton theme!

Fall Inspiration 2016

Hey guys I know I've been missing for a long time but I am back with a Fall Inspiration post!! So I am OBSESSED with everything fall, so of course I had to make this post. So let's dive into it!

Fall Essentials
Fall music. Ok so for me, I love to get into the fall spirit by listening to more calming music where you can just relax and chill to. Also Halloween songs... Can you blame me though?

Drinks. For fall I have always been obsessed with drinking hot chocolate, probably drank it like everyday for the past two years during the colder months.. whoops? But along with hot chocolate, I've also started getting into drinking tea? I dunno, most people like coffee more but tea is actually pretty nice!

Books. During the year I like to read, but something about the weather getting colder and the leaves changing always gets me to read a lot more. (btw I am currently ready Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell and Althea and Oliver by Christina Moracho)

How to Get into the Fall Mood
Change…

two weeks.

It's time. You have around two weeks left of school. Two more weeks of after school practices, of classes, of seeing those posters in the hallways. Two more weeks of goofing off during class, seeing your teachers, and being known as the choices you have made over the past nine years. And lets be honest life may get harder. Whether you love your elementary/middle school or hate it, it's quickly coming towards an end, and you probably can't wait for what's to come. In the past year you've been shadowing high schools and choosing your highschool if not applying to a private school. You've been making more friends and final memories with your classmates, the newbies and the ones you have known since you were just kids.

But in reality, whether you wanna be or not, you are just a kid. You will be expected to make your own decisions, but still do everything, everyone tells you to do. It's a strange thing to have one foot in middle school and the…

a week in my life

Image
Hello lovely people. It's been a busy few weeks, and I've been doing a lot of things lately, which is fantastic! Only slightly freaking out, since there is only 23 days left of the school year. Hopefully time will go by fast, and fingers crossed I survive!

Tuesday (May 10th) it was my friend's birthday, and we celebrated by going to the Giants vs. Blue jays game with 3 other friends. When we first arrived we first got some pizza across the stadium called avvinci My friend (the birthday girl) caught a free shirt, we sat really close, went on the slides and even got on tv! Even though the Giants didn't win we all had a blast!

Wednesday (May 11th) was my mom's birthday and we went to Selena Gomez's revival tour, which I had previously won tickets, 2 weeks before. The openers was Bea Miller and DNCE! Sadly I missed Bea's set, because of the long merch line. After her set she went to meet people so I tried to meet her, but no advail I couldn't because she onl…

The Truth

I am sitting here tonight over thinking everything that has been going on in my short-lived life. A mug of hot chocolate in hand, an April playlist playing thanks to 8tracks and a truckload of homework and projects surrrounding me. Going over things that have happend within the past month-hell even the past year.

Family fights, friend conflicts, procrastinating homework till the last second, low self-esteem and lastly self doubt. Wondering what has put me in this situation, I try to blame others but I know that's not what's wrong. I can't help it though. I am hard on myself. I am mean and poke at my own insecurities. I tell myself I'm not good enough for others and constantly try to climb mountains that were just never there.

I am drowning from trying to be someone else's image of perfect. But the reality is I will never be everyone's vision of perfection. So why bother trying?

Let me tell you who I am. I am stubborn and sassy. I speak before …

Among Spring Happiness

A friend recently told me that Spring is the prettiest time of the year, because nature starts over. The snow starts melting and the temperature begins to rise. The days seems shorter and the sun shines bright. Flowers bloom where there once layer snow, and trees start to regain their leaves. Nature is born into another year, with its vibrant colors taking over.

It got me thinking, Spring is a way for us to restart too. During dark times we may feel as if we'll never see the light again. We may be stuck in a dark time, thinking we'll never be happy again. Just like the seasons, you may feel like winter will never pass, but spring will come. The days get warmer. The flowers will blossom. The snow will melt, and you will get out of that slump and gain happiness.

We belong to live among the nature Spring brings. We belong among the flowers, where we can finally be free.

"If flowers can teach themselves how to bloom after Winter passes, so can you.&…
